We will start our review with articulation. In the past we have worked on articulating while keeping a consistent tone. Now that we are using slurs, many combinations are available to us. In order to become comfortable with the variety of articulations available, the articulation exercises will focus on common patterns. So, when we come across a pattern in the music, you will already be familiar with it a you will be prepared.

- Notice that the exercise is a G major scale
- Play at ♩=60
- Repeat 5 times (daily)
- Articulate the first note of each group

This week we will spend time reviewing just A and Eb major. Follow the steps below:
- Set metronome to 60
- Play quarter notes
- Repeat 5-10 times daily
