Set a specific amount of time each day to learn the song. Some students set a time of 15 minutes a day, and others spend 2 minutes a day.
Set a time that works for you. We don’t want this to turn into a chore. When you reach your goal for the day, stop and move on. Then do the same thing the next day. Consistency is the key to your success!
Once you can play sections 1 and 2, combine these sections (playing them together) before moving to section 3. Continue this process through our the remainder of the song.
If you are having a hard time figuring out a note, simply pause the audio during the challenging note (this allows the trouble note to be the last sound you hear) and then sing/hum the note. Then find it on the saxophone.
